Can ya help me with this paragraph sorry the paragraph is too long to post Q :the writer says that 'shared space' intersections : A> not likely to catch on in some countries as much as in others B >maybe appealing in theory but may have serious drawbacks in practice C.can compensate for failings in other aspects of road design D.are not claimed to be a solution to road safety issues on their own They answer is D but I dont understand why ? I think they cut this exercise from an article :

You will see the sentence ""In Mr Monderman's view, shared-space schemes thrive only in conjunction with well-organised, well-regulated highway systems." It is this that makes option D the correct answer. Also, in my opinion, the title to your question should be "Can you help me...." and not "Can ya help me..." Using "ya" when speaking is OK, but since it is more representative of an informal speaking pattern than being conventional written English, I recommend using "you" when writing.
