How to call this occupation and people who do this job?
In China we have a group of people whose job is to help a female and a male become a couple or you can say fix them up. This occupation is called '红娘' in Chinese. But how to call it in English? Harmony?

We'd definitely call them a 'matchmaker'. Personally I haven't heard 'marriage broker' but it could just be because it's not a big part of my culture.

In Turkish, it is called "çöpçatan". And I think it is called "matchmaker" or "marriage broker" in English.
