Is this sentence correct? "I am planning to buy a new game after I beat this one" Thanks in advance

Yes, it's fine. I would probably say "finish" or "complete", but "beat" is fine too. I'd use "beat" just for a character, for example, the final boss character that you need to beat in order to finish the game, because you need an opponent, but you can sometimes think of the game itself as the opponent.

I guess it would be better if it is rephrased to "I'm planning to buy a new game after I complete the current one". Just my opinion.
