Pawn off her sister on me ? Hi I already know that you can pawn off something of low quality on someone, Yet I am not sure if we can use a person with the verb pawn off instead of a thing. Context: He had an unattractive sister who he tries to marry off to me. Can I say ... he tries to Pawn her off on me?

Yes, but.... if you said "He keeps trying to pawn his sister off on me." I'd assume he wanted you to go out on a date with her, not marry her.
