When do you say? I'm glad to help you. Before you help or after you help or both?

It's a little clumsy either way. Before try: 'I'd be happy to help' or 'I'm happy to help' After try: 'I'm glad I could help'

To respond to a thank you after helping, we can say "You're welcome" (mostly American English) or "My pleasure" (mostly British English).
