Should I learn Japanese? Hi! Here is my struggle. I am currently learning Swedish actively but finding very difficult to find a language partner for a language exchange. One of my students is from Japan and was actually thinking about doing an exchange as I would have more opportunities to practice the language. What do you guys think? 1) Is Japanese worth studying? I am extremely interested in the culture, as I am in Swedish. I like some Japanese songs but haven't really found anything that "touches my heart" sort to speak 2) If I start learning Japanese, should I give up my Swedish? I honestly don't think I have the energy to keep up with both as I know Japanese is a really hard and demanding language Please share your opinion as Japanese students/ speakers!
