How can I ask people about the "times"? Obviously , I don't know how ask people the times, so I'm sorry I can't put the question directly here ,but can I have some examples? A:......? B:it's the first time I 've been New York. A......? B:we are the second ,and next one gotta be you. I really have no idea, can you help me please :-) thank you very much !

1) “How many times have you been to New York?” should work. 2) I’m not sure what you’re talking about. Are people waiting in line for something? Perhaps: “When is it your turn?” or “Which number are you?”/”Which number do you have?” or “How many people are waiting before me?”
