Remember your article 'the' before chickens. Otherwise it has a bizzare and unsavory meaning. Further, 'Go to bed with...' Is a stock idiom. You merely insert something. Example: 1. If you go to bed with the devil... Example 2. If you go to bed with dogs, expect to wake up with fleas.
