Can you explain the expression "but some alternate persona" in this text? i have a paragraph as follows: "While personal development and growth are both admirable and desirable, most people feel the need to change themselves for happiness, but you should never have to change your true self for happiness to get it. If you do, it is not really you that is getting it, but some alternate persona". What does the writer mean in the expression "but some alternate persona"? Thank you?

another version of yourself, that is fake. A person that is not real... the person you are pretending to be.
