Russian I just started to learn Russian, My question is should i start learning reading/Writing or should i start the verbal ( How to start conversation" type of approach ? And what is the best way to go with? Also will a partner be any good ?

Try to start with pronunciation of letters, then try to learn 100-200 basic words and only after that you might start learn grammar. Grammar will kill really many time.

Watch movies and listen as many audio as you can. It doesn't matter if you don't understand. The point is to bread the language barrier. And it is always better to study grammar from the language, and not the language from the grammar.
