(to)+(to)+(ing) 2)he wanted people 'to stop going on treating' him like child. (to)+(ing)+(ing) 3)he wanted people 'to stop to go on to treat him' like child. (to)+(to)+(to) Thank you every one.

He wanted people to stop treating him like a child. I don't think you really need quotes for it.

I agree with Zack (thumbs up). stop treating him as a child = not go on treating him as a child
