Property on which? 1.The bank has purchased some property on which to construct a new building. 2.How many countries will be joining the Brazil 2016 Olympic Games? 3.About 207 countries and regions have joined the Brazil 2016 Olympic Games. Are these sentences correct? If they are not, please tell me why and how I can correct them. Thank you.Thank you. But I have doubts about them. For the first sentence, shouldn't it be "The bank has purchased some property on which a new building is to be constructed"? For the second and third one, shouldn't I say "join in the Brazil 2016 Olympic Games " or "take part in the Brazil 2016 Olympic Games " in place of "join..."? My textbook says in this situation you should use "join in" or "take part in". Would you please elaborate on it?
