Writing question "The accuracy of the solution is checked both through comparisons with previous works, and the results of simulation with Abaqus software" 1) Is it true to use two prepositions consequently? (the words through & both) 2) Is the use of comma true? Thanks for your consideration

1- "Both" is not a preposition. "Both ... and" are correlative conjunctions. 2- You usually don't use a comma with correlative conjunctions.
