Ardavan
I could not find a single active language partner since I've joined this site. Despite the fact that I participated in many session including diary editing to answering questions, etc I could not find any anyone for that purpose. In fact, It seems virtual space fails to be used as a tool for this purpose. To what extend do you agree to this?

I'm surprised that you haven't found a language partner after almost a year. Have you ASKED anyone to be a language partner? Go to the Language Partners page (in the the COMMUNITY menu), select the language you want to practice, select the language your language partner wants to learn (Persian), check the native speaker checkbox (recommended), and search for potential partners. I just tried that, and got a long list of people who speak English and want to learn Persian. When you see the list, contact some of them. You can contact five people per day for free on Italki. Many people won't respond; maybe they are busy, or don't want to study a language right now, or maybe they already have enough language partners. So you will probably have to contact many people before you can find a suitable language partner. Good luck!

I suppose it depends what combination of languages you are learning and offering. I have found it quite easy to find people who speak my target languages and want to learn mine: but mine is English. Keep going! I am sure that you will find some partners soon. Remember that when you do find them, you will have the advantage of having a rare combination, so you will be able to have very in-depth interactions with them.

I'm sorry to hear that you've had trouble with this Ardavan, despite your efforts to help people with their notebook entries. Here is what I believe the problem to be: you're learning a language that is in very high demand, and the language you can teach - Persian - is not studied by many people, unfortunately, even though it is beautiful. Therefore, it's probably going to take you longer to find someone who will exchange with you because you have to find someone who wants to learn what you can share with them. Many language exchanges, under the best of circumstances, don't work. Why? Because it's hard to find people who are willing to make a commitment, be reliable, and be consistent. All I can say is try to be patient and wait for the right person.
