Недавно у соседки с третьего этажа умер WiFi-роутер… Хоронили всем подъездом Why is "Недавно у соседки с третьего этажа умер WiFi-роутер… Хоронили всем подъездом" or what does it mean maybe? I get that it means that your neighbour on the third floor's internet router died, but beyond that, I'm lost. Help please!

It is a joke. That wi-fi was free for every neighbours (without password) and everybody is sad that it's gone

The device became dead. And the speaker jeers at the situation. They buried it in their memory only. Bye-bye, router, be in peace!

This sentence jokingly represents the router as an animate being. "My neighbour's wifi router died. All the house was at the funeral" Meaning that all the house grieved at this loss, beacause everyone in the house used this wifi.
