I don't understand a part of this sentence 昨日は雨でしたし、どこにも出かけませんでした What does "どこにも" mean?

It means 'anywhere' in this context. So ' I couldn't go out anywhere '.

It was raining yesterday and I did NOT go ANYWHERE. - It is hard to explain the specific word in English, but it is close to "anywhere" which is used with "not".
