Masters Degrees 2 A Masters degree at an American university usually takes around two years of full-time study to complete. This is longer than in some other countries (such as the UK) but reflects the greater emphasis on structured training and regular assessment on a US graduate program. In most cases, the greater length of your degree will be offset by the additional development opportunities and transferable skills you acquire during it. Possession of an American Masters degree may also shorten the amount of time required to achieve a PhD in the same field.

The only thing that I see that needs to be corrected is "on a US graduate program". It should be "in a US graduate program." Oh, and master's doesn't need to be capitalized.

Masters degree -> master’s degree (only capitalize the M if it is a specific degree, e.g. Master of Arts) on a US graduate program -> in a US graduate program the greater length of your degree -> the greater length of your degree program The sentence “In most cases…” is clunky in my opinion. Here is one potential way you could re-word it: “In most cases, the greater length of your degree program will be offset by having additional development opportunities and acquiring more transferable skills.” of an American Masters degree -> of an American master’s degree Good job!
