Night shift How does a native describe a night working person ?

When I worked the graveyard shift, I would tell people that I worked "nights" or "graves." As Richard says, though, there isn't a term that is commonly used to name this type of person.

I don't know of any common term that refers to people who work at night. We often call it the "graveyard shift". Colloquially, we might refer to nighttime workers as "night owls" but that could also refer to people who don't go to bed until the morning hours.
