i can't understand what the meaning of this sentence If you fail at pre-ordering an iPhone X tonight, you can still look up at the moon and realize that Earth is God's notch.

Notch usually means a mark of achievement (ex.: "He put a notch on his gun for every man he killed.") but it can also mean the achievement itself. So, to me, the sentence means: "Even if you can't pre-order an iPhone X, you can still appreciate all that God has created the universe." It's an odd sentence; maybe meant to be very poetical.
