Parts of the day
Could you help me?
Do you say "early/late in the morning/afternoon" or "(the) early/late morning/afternoon"? What about "late at night" and "late in the night"? And do you use "the" before "early morning/afternoon""
For example: Would you say
"There is rain expected late in the morning/(the) late morning until late in the afternoon/(the)late afternoon. The rain is expected to let up late at night/late in the night"
"There is snow expected early in the evening/early evening into (the) early overnight"
Please, which ones would you use?
Thank you very much!
