How do you say "solo pasaba para saludar"? I'm not sure but I would say: I've just stopped to say hello I've just stopped by to say hello I just came to say hello (this is from a song I found while looking for a correct phrase to say this) context: "Buenos días Paulina, solo pasaba para saludar." thank you all for any advice in advance.

"I just called in to say hello." "I just dropped in to say hi." "I just popped in to say hi," --I think this is probably only British English.
