Notice though, that you can also launch waves by moving your hand side-to-side". I can't get the meaning of "though" in "Notice though", would sb pls explain, thanks

It's kind of like "Also" or "But". Like calling your attention to the fact that there's more than one way to do something. "Knitting generally uses the knit stitch. Notice though, that you can also use the purl stitch."
