These are both incorrect. I gave the kitchen a spring-clean at the weekend. correct: I gave the kitchen a spring-cleaning during (or over) the weekend. I preformed the action. I had the kitchen a spring-clean at the weekend. correct: I had the kitchen spring-cleaned during (or over) the weekend. I had someone else perform the spring-cleaning.
