If I'm talking with a friend about a third person and _I_ want to compliment (him about / ) his personality and_I_ want to say that the current personality he has is the best for him, can _I_ say __: (this personality fit for him) if we cant then how _can we_ say _it_? if my question is grammatically wrong or _has_ spelling mistakes please correct me. I think it would be better to say 'this personality fits him' or even better 'this personality suits him' - although the idea of people changing their personalities is a little strange to me. The "(him about / ) his" means that I think you should say either 'compliment him about his personality' or 'compliment his personality'. Remember to capitalise 'I'.
