Can I use these interchangeably? I don't think he would be happy to see me. I don't think he is going to be happy to see me.

Good question, the answer is, no, they are very similar but not interchangeable. The first is the conditional tense, it implies and imaginary situation (he wouldn't be happy to see me, if ). The second is the future tense, it talks about a real situation that WILL happen in the future (he definitely will not be happy, when he sees me). Hope this helps. Good luck!
