Can you explain me meaning of "The thermostat in my room is set as high as it will go" ?
A piece of the "The notebook" romance written by Nicholad Sparkd
In The Notebook, it's meant literally.
The heating for the room has a control (a thermostat). The control is set to the hotest/highest setting it has.
For example if it goes up to 30 degrees. It is set to 30 degrees.
