That is correct grammar if you are wondering how someone would be willing to accept you.
Example: I have done very poorly on a test. The professor has very high standards. I am hopeful that a miracle could happen, but really - how could he accept me? My score is so low.

Technically the sentence is correct, although a little more context would be helpful for a full evaluation. Taken in isolation like this, to me it gives the impression that the person speaking is full of self-doubt.
