What is the meaning of 된서리를 치다 ?
Is it an idiom? Please explain it for me and give me some situations when you use it.

된서리를 맞다. (치다 X)
You got a damage which you don't deserve. When you're not relevantly involved in the situation and the fault is not caused by you, but you are blamed. You can think this a sort of a bad side effect by the situation you're in.

= 큰 피해를 당하다.

That is the first time in my whole life I heard about this.... so I've googled it and turns out it's an expression from North Korea meaning (I'm not 100% sure) "hit/strike severely so that it is hard for any recovery".
