What's the difference? Hello! I would like to know what is the difference between: "The teacher did not come to class" (or classes?) and "The teacher did not show up to class(classes?)" *I also don't know if it is necessary to add "to class" or if I can just say "The teacher did not show up today"

There is no difference of meaning and yes you can just use "today" and everyone will understand that she didn't show up FOR THE class.
