Help with English Hi, everyone Should you say "The country is facing both a Zika and (a) flu crisis" or "The country is facing both Zika and flu crises"? And "They are looking for a cure for both the Zika and flu virusES" or "They are looking for a cure for both the Zika and (the) flu virus" Among THESE OPTIONS, which one is right?

If I were you, I would like to write something like: 1. The country confronts serious illness, such as Zika and flu diseases. 2. "The nation seeks treatment for all these diseases" or you can write"They seeks treatment for all these diseases"

I would use the first and last example including the words in brackets.

Either is really acceptable but the first reads better
