The changes of the Islip town in the future. I'm so nervous about the exam next day
The two pictures illustrate the potential changes to the layout of the Islip town centre.
In the plan, a dual carriageway will be built around the Islip centre, and there is no significant difference outside the carriageway excepted that the size of the school which is located at the west-southern corner will be enlarged.
The Islip centre will witness considerable development. The main road in the centre is going to be the pedestrian path only. At the south of the path, there are still the shopping and housing areas, but some new housings are planned to construct not far away from the park which at the east-southern corner will be decreased in the scale.
The countryside at the north of the centre will also be explored in the Islip. The shopping areas at the north of the past main road will see an expansion, and are divided into four sections: bus station, shopping centre, car park and new housing from the west to the east of the centre sequentially.
