"ears pounded"? Hello, I was reading a novel and reached a part where a boy got stung by a scorpion. He then started describing his state, saying: "My ears pounded. My vision went foggy." What did he mean by "ears pounded"? Does it mean that he can hear his heart beat in his ears or that his ears were simply buzzing? Thank you!
