The usual term in English is "food-prep". The people who work in the kitchen doing "prep" are called "prep-cooks" They have the job of cutting the vegetables, slicing the meat and getting food items ready to be used by the cooks.

It usually refers to either the process of buying the food or cleaning. It depends.
For example: I need to pre-prep my food before I can put it in the pot.
But it is not very common. It can be used as an adjective also:
For example: That must be pre-preped before you can put it in the stew.
