Is this phrase "reservations department" correct? How do you call a department in a hotel where a guest can reserve a room or make a cancellation in English? Or maybe it's just a front desk, or a customer service office? Or maybe it depends on a hotel, and a country?

In the United States, you can simply ask for “Reservations”, and your call will be directed to the correct place. Example: “Hello. May I have Reservations, please.” Here, “reservations” means the reservations department, but nobody ever says “reservations department.”
