Is this dialogue OK? Person A - I have to get back home. Person B - It's too late. You can't get a bus at this time. You can stay over here if you want.

Also, I think it's more natural to say 'You can stay here if you want', rather than stay over.

... get a bus at this time ..., works for me. "Catch" to me, explicitly specifies the idea of getting on, which is not really required for this sense. Just my local perspective.

That sounds OK to me, but if you change "get a bus" to "catch a bus," it would sound more natural. Or you can say something like "buses aren't running at this time."
