min far or faren min? Could anyone explain to me when the pronoun will follow and precede the noun? and whah is the difference between them? Thanks.

Generally both forms are correct, but "min far" may be felt as more formal than "faren min". In a religious context, however, one would use "vår far" (Our father = God), not "faren vår". When the pronoun comes last, the noun, as you correctly write it, will usually be determined (faren), when the pronoun comes first, the noun will be indetermined. ( Det er min bil - Det er bilen min).
