I want to ask for a meeting confirmation in a formal way (not excessively formal, but I don't know yet the person I'm going to meet). Does the following sound good?

Hi Lorenzo,
It's fine.  Personally, I woud say "May I ask you" or "would you kindly confirm our meeting...."
