Speak, Speaks or Spoke? Hello Comunity. I have a question about this sentence: Never had I seen a young woman speak with such force. Why is the verb ''speak'' in this form? Thinks, it should be "speaks" or "spoke''. Help me, pls =)

You see someone do something so only the infinitive can be used here.

Here "speak" is infinitive. You could also use the gerund ("speaking"). "speaks" or "spoke" cannot be used here.
