Hi Sinem, No they are not the same. The first one "I want to know if he would cheat on me" is asking if he would possibly cheat on me any time in the future. Whereas the second one "I want to know if he cheated on me" is talking about the past, so you want to know if he cheated on you in the past. Hope this helps. Sinead

No, they aren't. In the first one, you are wondering if there is any chance that the person will cheat on you in the future. The second one implies that you believe there is a chance that the person actually cheated on you in the past. Hope it helps a bit!
