When do you use the word "truck" in British English? I am aware that it is "trucks" are generally called "lorries" in the UK, but are there contexts in which "truck" is used to refer to a type of car there? In this case, which cars would that be? Thank you!

We do sometimes call lorries "trucks" in British English, because of the American influence on all of us! There's really no difference between a truck and a lorry. I hope that helps! Steve
