It is ok. A couple of things. 1. 'Seeing the actions happen' is generally more a measure of how well written a book is, rather than how exciting it is. So you could say: The book is so well written that I can nearly see the action happening before my eyes. 2. We generally talk about 'action' rather than 'actions' when we're talking about an exciting book/movie 3. If you wanted to focus on how exciting it was, you could say - The book is so exciting I couldn't stop reading it.
