How do we say things like this? For instance, I would want to describe the two things that have equal severity. Can I say robbing bank is as severe as killing people. If you are stealing things at my house is as severe as you break my computer. Things like that. Can you guys please help me with some example sentences? Thank you. If you have free time, please answer my other question on notebook. Thank you very much!

One easy way to say it is "X is [just] as bad as Y." For example: "Robbing a bank is just as bad as killing someone." "Stealing things from my house is just as bad as if I broke your computer." "Being late is just as bad as not coming at all."
