I always use this word to explain my sentences but most of people don’t understand. Isn’t it correct? What should i use instead of it?

Yes, you can.  However, the second example is not correct, we dont use it like this.  It doesnt make sense.-- I can’t afford to you.   You could say,   I can not afford to be with you.

For the last three examples, I would assume you meant money, unless there was other context.
The first one is more obviously, emotionally.
Emotionally, I can’t afford to be with you
Emotionally, I can’t afford to stay awake much longer.
Emotionally, I can’t afford to work in this place.
