Please tell me what's meaning of 'omit to take' in this sentence. Is the sentence correct? MetLife shall not be obligated under this Agreement to take any action or omit to take any action that it believes could cause it to be in violation of any Law.

They are saying that they will not break the law. The will not break the law by doing something. They will not break the law by failing to do something that they should. . omit to take action = not do something

Nanren is absolutely right. You could also interpret it this way if it's easier. They will not do anything for you, or withhold anything about you if that would mean that they are violating the law.
