Hi Several meanings. 1) something is physically farther away than something else: 'The house is beyond those trees'. The house is on the other side of those trees from the speaker. 2) something that is out of reach or surpoassing the object: 'He is beyond control' means he can not be controlled. 'His skill is beyond my ability' means that the subject's skill far surpoasses my own. 3) as a noun- 'He flew into the great beyond'. Here it refers to some place or area that is far away, or beyond what you can see or imagine.
