That should be “of”, not “oh”: “A great museum gift shop is an extension of the museum itself.” It means that a great museum gift shop is not just a commercial establishment, but rather it should uphold the the same high standards as the rest of the museum in terms of cultural value (or whatever the museum is about).

From my point of view it means expanding of museum is the best valuable gift for people.
