How is the second sentence different from the first one? Is there any of the above wrong grammartically?

Your sentences are syntactically right.
And I would say:
コンピューターを使う仕事がしたいです。
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
コンピューターの能力を使う仕事をしたいです。
-> One sentence
＝ 「コンピューターの能力を使う仕事を、したいです」
コンピューターの能力を使って、仕事をしたいです。
-> Two sentences put together
「コンピューターの能力を使う」＋「仕事をしたいです」。

If you want to describe one word with one sentence you should say verb in た form. so you should use 使った instead of that.
