Yes, it is correct.
In this sentence, we are defining the hobby known as 'Arts and Crafts'. It is no different from saying 'Dolce and Gabbana is my favourite fashion label'. In both cases, we have a single subject. Sometimes names are made up of two or more parts, but the subject - whether it's the name of a hobby or the name of a fashion label - is grammatically singular.
