pull up
to pull up can mean to find to research some information, especially on a computer screen.
But I can't figure out the "pull up" in the following two sentences.
pull up that website for me; it looks quite interesting.
I'm pulling up an article on 18th-century wig making for a paper I'm writing.

1) it means show it to me. (you) by making it visible on the screen.
2) "find it or search for it" you are searching for or looking for a specific article on the internet, in a magazine, book or wherever.
