Using French Negation
I'm can't seem to get any of my answers in French negatives correct. Here are examples of wrong answers of mine which I would love to know why they are wrong. Thanks!
[NEGATION]
Rewrite the following sentences in the negative.
1) Il va au théâtre = Il ne va pas au théâtre (my answer)
2) Je crains cet homme= Je ne crains pas cet homme (my answer)
3) J'écoute le professeur= Je n'écoute pas le proffesseur (my answer)
Any advice on what I did wrong??

Bonjour,
Vos réponses sont tout à fait correctes.
A noter que de manière informelle, dans le langage de tous les jours, le "ne" est souvent omis. Ainsi on peut dire "il va pas au théâtre" ou "j'écoute pas le professeur" etc.

All 3 answers are perfectly French. A small spelling mistake in "professeur".

Yeah, all your answers were right. was the guideline to just turn those sentences into the negative form? or was there maybe something else?
